The National School of Business Management (NSBM) selected Bahrain based boutique consultancy firm – MTI Consulting to develop a Ground Zero based Corporate Plan for the period 2016 to 2021 for the nearly completed NSBM Green University Town situated in Pitipana, Homagama.

NSBM CEO, Dr. E. A. Weerasinghe stated: “The Corporate Plan will focus on enabling NSBM to offer world class education which will secure local and international employment opportunities for its students. Furthermore, the Corporate Plan will also enable the strategic initiatives set in the original feasibility study of NSBM Green University Town to be driven with the intention of achieving a target of 30,000 local and international students by 2025.”
MTI’s CEO, Hilmy Cader, added that MTI will work closely with NSBM’s faculties, staff, students and other stakeholders, using MTI’s internationally acclaimed 8S Model to strategise and implement the determined objective of NSBM. Although MTI was not involved in the preliminary feasibility studies of the Green Campus, for which is nearing its completion, it is critical to evaluate and analyse the opportunities and dynamics of the education industry, in order for NSBM to keep abreast of the global challenges and strategise to achieve its target of attracting the intended number of 30,000 students.

NSBM is the degree awarding Institution of the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) and was established four years ago under the purview of the Government of Sri Lanka.
